About
Vector Climate Group is a climate analysis and advisory firm led by me – Nik.
For larger projects or those requiring broader expertise, I bring in trusted experts from my network – hence the “Group”.
Over the last 15 years, I have helped organizations make sense of climate risk, turning complex data into tools and strategies that guide decisions. My work mixes science, technology, and strategy. I help organizations plan for climate and nature-related risks and find the right way forward.
My journey into climate started officially in India in 2011 as a field researcher, and by 2014, had evolved into applied climate modeling where I helped build Four Twenty Seven’s science team and climate risk products until it was acquired by Moody’s in 2020. The next year, I stepped away from climate tech after a USAID contractor asked me to lead climate science integration across 14 global programs, shaping adaptive responses in some of the most climate vulnerable regions of the world.
In every role, my goal is the same. Take what the science can show us and make it useful. That sometimes means better tools or models. But more often, it means improving how teams learn, plan, and act.
If you're building a climate company, managing climate risk, or making climate-informed investment decisions, I can help.
